DPB는 애매한 호흡기 염증질환이다. 일본에서 처음 보고 되었고 그때 1000케이스 정도가 발표되었다.
대부분의 DPB환자들은 비흡연자들이며 남자들이 많고 대부분 만성부비동염을 갖고 있었단다.
증상은 cough, dyspnea, and sputum production
흉부 xary와 HRCT상 전형적인 특징을 보인다고 되어있다.
